I have been in a little bubble of productivity of late.   I just discovered the "alchemy" feature to ETSY.   This is a really neat thing where people who want items custom made put out a request and crafter/artists bid on the item.  There was a lady who wanted a leather lion mask.   I have been wanting to do a lion mask anyway so I went ahead and made one.   I feel like as I make more masks the painting of the masks is really what is a focus.  I like the process of working up the "hair" texture on the animal masks and making use of shadow and highlighting to imply a greater seperation of parts of the mask.   It makes me happy when people see the picture and wonder if they are more than one piece of leather because it means I hit a goal with the shadowing.

My goals over the next few weeks are to redo a few of my older designs for my store.   I want to do a white and an orange tiger mask to list.  I want to do a green man mask to list as the one I made got sold to someone local before I had a chance to place it up on ETSY.  I have plans to do a treant mask.   My main feature is going to be a large highly detailed mindflayer mask based on the cover of the D&D underdark 4th edition book.
