Gothic Butterfly Hair clips by Lady-Cass Gothic Butterfly Hair clips by Lady-Cass
This is one of my first masks. I just sold this to a woman who asked for complimenting hair clips. These are two side clips and one large back butterfly hair clip that go well with the mask. The purple is not an exact match but I think they are still quite lovely all together!

Awesome detail. You have a much steadier hand than I. :) The color is beautiful.

Thank you... funny story. Last night I glued the metal bits to the back. Usualy I use JB weld an epoxy glue where you mix the two parts and spread ... it takes about 5-10 mins to harden. I couldn't get JB weld at Walgreens so I bought a different epoxy some 90 second one. You would think that I understood what 90 seconds means but I mixed it up and then leasurely started working. After the first small hair pieces I go to dip into my rather large mixed batch of glue which is hot from some chemical reaction and completly hardened. I ummm re-read the huge 90 second claim on the package and worked with more urgency for the rest of it.

Whew! 90 sec is not much work time. I'm bad about reading the instructions myself. LOL

Looks nice. The twisted endings really have a finishing touch. The sculpting is nice too. Nice job :)

Thank you much for the kind comment! I was a little concerned about the twisted endings in a hair tie... that could get annoying quick so I made sure to point them all out. Hopefully they won't catch the hair too badly!
