Here is a version of the Gothic Butterfly mask done in green. The little blue dot accents are in metalic blue.

Design looks great! These curly ends must have been so much work. But they turned out lovely ^^

Thank you! The ends were actualy quite easy. I cut them each with my knife but due to the nature of them they didn't have to be cut as carefully as I normaly cut the edges of a mask. After all strait, perfect lines weren't the ultimate goal. Then when the mask was still wet I just twisted and manipulated each into form with my fingers and dryed it. Painting each little cell on this on the other hand took many hours!

wow this is amazing! I'm a huge fan of butterflies so this really struck at the heart of what I enjoy. I really love that slight highlight of color within the segments of the wing texture. Very creative work with the shape of the mask as well. Love this!

Thank you! The coloring inside each wing cell took quite a while to build up but was pretty subtle so I am pleased someone noticed it!

It's amazing how those subtle details can really make a mask. You've done a gorgeous job:) It was well worth the time, I'd say!

Stunning mask! I love the added fringed details...they take it from a literal butterfly mask to a piece of amazing fantasy art. Instant fave. :-)

Thank you very much. I believe the whole make took about 15 hours from start to finish. I am new working with this medium, however, so I work slower than I might with more experience.
