Thank you!    This, out of all my masks I felt was more of an artistic piece than a "mask you wear on Halloween".  I may make another soon.   I sold this one and I am always regretting it!

Thank you!  I wanted these butterflies to be the size of real monarchs and painted well enough to look like clusters of them on your face.

oh man this is so drool worthy! You are making my butterfly addiction twitch with this one...and such an affordable price! Are you sure you're not charging too little?

Not sure why I'm not devwatching you yet, but I've remedied this!:D MOAR butterflies, plz!

Thank you so much for the positive feedback. You made me glow. :) Since I have no feedback I have honestly priced items as low as I possibly can. Right now the goal is to make enough money to cover my materials, feed my hobby, and allow me to keep creating and experimenting with art. In the future the prices may increase but I am at a very novice level.

More butterflies to come for sure. I quite love them as well. I am considering an african monarch butterfly mask soon. Thanks again!

I can understand that notion of starting lower, being a novice myself! I was too embarrassed to post my earlier masks for sale because they just weren't buyable. And yours, m'dear, are definitely worthy! If you're already doing quality work like a pro, (or at least it *looks* pro to your target audience), I figure it's safe to charge the rates you really think you're worth.

All perceived value, after all! Undercharge and people will think you're a novice even when you're not. That's just this gal's opinion, though!

And squee of glee!:D An african monarch is a fun subject. I'd love to see you tackle a Comet Moth at some point, should it tickle your muse. Such a fun shape and color combo.:)

Thank you very much. I did the hair clip far before I thought up the mask idea. I was thinking about how lovely the hair clip was and I wanted a matching mask. Then I got the idea of just sort of stamping the clip all over to create the mask design.

Wow, that's quite stunning. It somewhat looks creepy too, though. It looks a bit like a butterfly attack. :giggle:
Love the details you put into this!

haha, Yes when you think about it this is a mask of a whole bunch of bugs on the face.

My friend joked and said he should wear this to his house where he has a hoard of monarch butterflies that attack them. I theorized that if he did he may have about 15 of them land on his head and attempt to mate with him.

:giggle: I suppose butterflies trying to hump your face is still better than little dogs trying to hump your leg. ;)
